Had such a wonderful first ever e-mountain bike ride last week with these two lovely lads. Guessing it will be the last one for a while as one of them became a dad the day after 😂

I don't care what anyone says about e-bikes, I think they're bloody brilliant. I could keep up with the guys, was able to go way further than normal and as such had a fantastic time, what's not to love?!

I'll still ride the road bike when I feel I'm in the need of some suffering.

Delighted to have just submitted my dissertation titled: Professional Cyclists in Transition: the developmental challenges post-competitve career. It is the culmination of years of thinking, incredible conversations with some truly wonderful people, and six months of intensive writing.

I look forward to sharing more information on the results in the future. But for right now, I'll just say a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped me with this project. Listening to your stories was an incredible privilege that will live with me forever.

Now, I'm going to collapse in a heap somewhere with a beer. Happy weekend 🍻😊
