Colombia is awesome! It's such an incredibly beaut

Colombia is awesome! It's such an incredibly beautiful, interesting and misunderstood country. And, there are pictures of @rigobertouran EVERYWHERE. And, EVERYONE is super enthusiastic about cycling. I had so many amazing moments when despite the language barrier me and someone else would be gesticulating and smiling widely at the mention of @estebanchavesbta @nairoquincoficial @eganbernal ect, or anything bike related frankly.

My goal for the future is to go back and tackle the long climb up to the stunning jungle town of Minca. It's probably way beyond my capabilities, but I'm thinking the promise of seeing toucans and hummingbirds and eating arepas at the top will keep me going!

Merry Christmas!!! I'm off for two weeks, staying away from the socials for some serious beach time, avoiding anything remotely resembling a digital screen or work.

I hope you have a wonderful festive period, whatever that looks like for you.

I always feel very reflective at this time of year, so it seems like a good opportunity to put a bit of gratitude into the world.
